2012 Tai Chi demonstration time at
The Runcorn Town Carnival is now set,
Good news, Tai Chi demonstration will taking place from 3.40-4.10pm on Saturday 30th at Runcorn’s Town Hall Park as part of the Runcorn annual Carnival event
Would you like to see the Tai Chi team in action? then come along to the Runcorn Town Carnival on June 30th 2012, which promises to be a great family fun day out. The event this year is going to be bigger and better than in 2011 and again is being held in front of Runcorn’s Town Hall (Town Hall Park -WA7 5TD).
I will be leading the Tai Chi team who this year will be doing two demonstrations the first of which will involve grown ups who will be demonstrating a short Qigong routine (Shibashi) for health. The second demonstration (hopefully) will consist of children from Penketh Primary School, Warrington who will be performing the set of Qigong exercises called the Ba-Duan-jin or “eight peices of brocade”, as we are not limited to space you can expect to see the team in larger numbers than usual, so make sure you don’t miss this one.
You just might be inspired to start attending classes so you too can join us in 2013, as with other events (weather permitting) this one is going to be another cracker.
To help you get started there will be 25 free Tai Chi classes which will be going up for grabs! so make sure you come and see us to claim your free class. The time slot for the Tai Chi demonstration is yet to be confirmed, make sure you keep yourself updated with regular visits to my web site.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
PS: Don’t forget the Free Tai Chi classes which are up for grabs, these are going to be first come first served basis! so you need to be there are to claim your Free class, just come and seem me to claim your place, with 25 classes going for Free there has to be one that is right for you, (regular offers also available).

I am dissapointed I will not be able to attend this year’s Tai Chi at the Runcorn Carnival as last years event was brillian gave us all more confidence in displaying Tai Chi and we also enjoyed ourselves as we always do at our class Every Tuesday at Churchill Hall in Runcorn from 10.00am to 11.00am with Paul.
There are lots of health benefits attached to Tai Chi some of which i have gained for myself, I would not miss a class I love the feeling it gives sometimes energerised sometime calming.

Runcorn Carnival was a lovely day and we had a good turnout for the tai chi demonstration. We were blessed that the rain held off and the sun shone down on us for our performance. My experience of performing tai chi outdoors with the warm breeze was one of a moving mediation at one with nature. Truly enjoyable, lovely to meet other tai chi students and fun too! I recommend anyone to try tai chi – any age – any ability – its a lovely gentle way to move around and meet nice people too 🙂
