Tai Chi at Runcorn’s Town Carnival 2012
Would you like to see the Tai Chi team in action? then come along to the Runcorn Town Carnival on June 30th 2012, which promises to be a great family fun day out. The event this year is going to be bigger and better than in 2011 and again is being held in front of Runcorn’s Town Hall (Town Hall Park -WA7 5TD).
I will be leading the Tai Chi team who this year will be doing two demonstrations the first of which will involve grown ups who will be demonstrating a short Qigong routine (Shibashi) for health. The second demonstration (hopefully) will consist of children from Penketh Primary School, Warrington who will be performing the set of Qigong exercises called the Ba-Duan-jin or “eight peices of brocade”, as we are not limited to space you can expect to see the team in larger numbers than usual, so make sure you don’t miss this one.
You just might be inspired to start attending classes so you too can join us in 2013, as with other events (weather permitting) this one is going to be a cracker.
To help you get started there will be 25 free Tai Chi classes up for grabs! so make sure you come and see us to claim your free class. The time slot for the Tai Chi demonstration is yet to be confirmed, make sure you keep yourself updated with regular visits to my web site.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
PS: Don’t forget the Free Tai Chi classes that are up for grabs, these are going to be first come first served basis! so you need to be there are to claim your Free class, just come and seem me to claim your place, with 25 classes going for Free there has to be one that is right for you, (regular offers also available).
Enjoyed performing Tai Chi outside luckly the bad weather which was prevalentthroughout the day cleared during our demonstration sesssion. I hope that anyone watching realised that anyone can do it and enjoy it at the same time. Of course the long term benefits can best be recognised by observing that all the body’s muscles and ligaments are given a workout whilst following a controlled breathing pattern. Even the brain gets a workout! Having a tutor as good as Paul is an absolute boon. We are very lucky to have someone in our community so dedicated and talented.
