Qi Gong

is the art of strengthening one’s Qi or “Life Force”.

Dating back more than 5000 years, the Chinese believe good health is directly related to the universal life energy that flows through everything.

When a person becomes physically, mentally or emotionally ill it is believed this is due to a blockage in the flow of Qi energy. Qigong is the art of moving that energy through the body removing blockages and strengthening the flow.

Qigong uses a combination of deep relaxed natural breathing exercise with meditation, focused concentration and slow, gentle Yoga-like stretching movements. This often results in an ability to deal better with the stresses and challenges of the modern world.
